On October 17, 2023, in the frame of 'World Savings Day-2023' campaign, the Foreign Relations and Cooperation Division of the Deposit Insurance Corporation of Mongolia undertook a significant initiative. They organized a comprehensive financial education session for over 100 students from 10th to 12th grades at the American-Mongolian joint general education school 'Shildeg'. This educational effort marks a key step in enhancing financial literacy among young learners.
During the training session focused on 'Savings and Deposits', students received valuable insights into the significance of saving money, methods to cultivate a savings habit, and the concept of insured deposits. The session highlighted the camel, a symbol of savings in Mongolian culture.
Additionally, the students engaged in creating policies related to bank deposits. In recognition of their efforts and to reinforce the savings message, they were awarded with camel-themed money-saving items.
