In a significant development, a meeting was convened between the Deposit Insurance Corporation of Mongolia and Mr. Marcus Loch, the Country Representative of Sparkasse Bank Fund in Mongolia. Chaired by A. Altantulkhur, Head of the Foreign Relations and Cooperation Division at the Deposit Insurance Corporation, the discussion focused on enhancing the training of new bankers. A key outcome was the decision to incorporate a course on the "Deposit Insurance System" into the training modules, a joint effort by the Sparkasse Bank Foundation and the Academy of Banking and Finance. Further, there was an agreement to republish this course content in the "Handbook of Banking Specialists Advising Clients." The International Cooperation Fund of Sparkasse Bank of Germany, with a rich history spanning over three decades, is instrumental in organizing various training, professional development courses, and seminars. Their efforts are dedicated to grooming a new generation of bankers equipped with extensive knowledge in the banking sector across more than 50 countries and to promote financial education among citizens. Mongolia has been actively participating in these initiatives since 2017, implementing various projects and programs in line with these goals.
