The Mongolia Business Summit was organized from June 18 to 20 at Ikh Tenger Complex in Ulaanbaatar, with a focus to introduce business opportunities in Mongolia, set business ties, and promote the cultural development of Mongolia.
Over 500 domestic and international participants attended the summit to discuss current and future business trends and opportunities in Mongolia in depth.
In his opening address, President Ts.Elberdorj spoke on the current economic climate in Mongolia, highlighting the importance of further industry diversification and progress through unity in all sectors of the country.
Throughout the event, attendees had the opportunity to engage in discussions on targeted growth industries of Mongolia such as mining, infrastructure, energy and financial, as well as to propose key mega projects intended for Mongolia’s infrastructure development.
Acting Executive Director of the Mongolian Stock Exchange (MSE) D.Angar participated as the event’s main speaker, and introduced the current condition of the Mongolian stock market, policies of the MSE, and talked about possibilities for raising capital through the MSE.
The summit ended on Saturday with participants going on site tours of the Gobi Cashmere Factory, APU, Sharyn Gol, and Erdenet’s commercial hub.
