The Acting CEO of Deposit Insurance Corporation of Mongolia Mr.S.Baatarsuren has been elected the Chairman of the Eurasia Regional Committee of the International Deposit Insurers Association /IADI/. 
The International Association of Deposit Insurers is an international standard setter for deposit insurance with members and associates representing over 117 jurisdictions.
Regional committees have been created for Africa, Asia-Pacific, Caribbean, Eurasia, Europe, Latin America, Middle East & North Africa and North America to reflect regional interests and common issues through the sharing and exchange of information and ideas. DICOM is a member of the Asia-Pacific and Eurasia Regional Committees.
Mr.S.Baatarsuren was appointed as Chairperson of IADI’s Regional Committee of Eurasia on 8th June 2022 for a three-year term by a majority vote of members. The meeting was held hybrid format in Kazan, the capital of the Republic of Tatarstan, Russia.
The committee has 10 members, including Belarus, Turkey, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Armenia, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Georgia, Uzbekistan and Mongolia.
