As part of the national 'Billion Trees' initiative led by the President of Mongolia, the team at the Deposit Insurance Corporation demonstrated their commitment to environmental preservation by planting 100 deciduous and decorative trees, such as aspen and lilac, in the Eastern Zone of the National Park on May 13, 2023. This greening event was a collaborative effort with the National Park to safeguard the Tuul River, a crucial source of drinking water, reduce air pollution, enhance green spaces, and foster a healthier ecosystem. The National Park staff will undertake future irrigation and care, ensuring each sapling's successful growth into a tree.
